Imam Zijad Delic is an activist, teacher, scholar and acclaimed public speaker. He currently serves as Human Concern International’s (Canada) Strategic Relations Advisor and Mentor and remains a steadfast advocate for Islamic and Interfaith interactions and relations worldwide.
Today’s episode takes place at British Columbia’s Historic First Mosque Al Masjid Al Jamia Vancouver where Imam Zijad delivered an address to the congregation on Peace, hope, resiliency and the power of faith in troubled times that are excerpted in todays program as well as a one on one interview.
He survives his beloved wife Senada who passed away suddenly during a trip to Istanbul not long after this interview took place and is a devoted Father to daughters Lejla and Emina & grandson Zayn.
